1. Clear white copy paper
2. Wooden skewers
3. Baker’s twine or string or yarn. 
4. Scissors
5. Glue

Process description:

1. At first cut a slice of washy tape around 2.5" to 3" long. Line it up along the edge of a piece of plain white copy paper and put about one half of the tape on the paper and leave the other part hanging.
2. Cut the paper away from the washy top slice. It will become a piece of washy tape that has paper on one side.
3. Take the coil and lay it on the divide where the paper part of the washy tape ends. Be sure to leave a bit of slice at the end.
4. Fold the unused part of the washy tape over the pile and the other side of the strip of paper.
5. Cut the flag in a "v" shape at the end. Then continue adding more washy tape cake flags to twine until it has enough to span the cake.
